STYLE: Instagram Recap | May 2017

hey y'all,

So I was planning blog posts out last night and as I was looking at my calendar, I was like...wait it's already June 1st?! We're halfway through the year...ALREADY?! Then I realized I hadn't even though about doing a May Instagram Recap yet. So here it is, a little late, on the second day of June but hey...better late than never, am I right?! If you're new to Instagram Recaps, let me explain. This is where I link ALL of my outfits I've post on Instagram during that month. It makes it easier to view/shop in case you missed anything. Below, I have the photo of the outfit, links to shop each piece, and where I wore it/the best place to wear each look.

If you're looking for a super comfy, yet totally stylish dress for summer, then girl...look no further. When I got this dress it was a tad big on me so I tied a belt I already owned around my waist and tied a knot at the bottom. This helped to accentuate my curves and with the help of the heels, elongated my body to look taller.

I wore this look on Memorial Day to the beach! I love the bottoms because they're high waisted (something different than you normally see) and the top because of the black and white detail. Oh and have I mentioned that the top was on $17!

Okay...who else is loving this look?! I wore it on Memorial Day out by the lake. The bandana came from Dollar Tree (2 for $1...make ya holla) but I linked one for $5 for easier shopping.

One thing about this top is that it's SUPER comfy. I bought the top at Target a couple months ago so unfortunately it's sold out, but I've linked some similar tops from Target that are just as cute!

Yep, you guessed it...another Target find. I may or may not be a little obsessed with Target clothes, but hey...everyone is, right?!

Pairing with a pair of white or denim jeans is the perfect and easiest way to dress it up. To achieve a more casual look, add a pair of denim shorts, and cute sandals.

I wore these shoes for the first time at my favorite place on Earth...Disney World. I love how simple they are but stylish and comfy at the same time. Oh, and for $65, I couldn't pass them up.

Literally my go-to outfit when it rains. Instead of breaking out my raincoat, I opt for a light plaid shirt. I got this one from Rue 21 a couple years ago, but linked a super similar one.

Oh, and how cute is my "Adultish" tee?! It's from Styles by Strut (linked below) and totally my life motto. Any of my twenty-something girls relate?!

Is your Disney outfit really complete without your Sleeping Beauty Mickey Ears?! Fun fact: I couldn't find any socks that morning before leaving home, so I had to wear my Flight Factory socks, hence the green strip at the top.

Okay...I'm not even going to lie, I've worn this top SO much since I received it in the mail. I've linked it below but y'all, the material is SUPER soft and works with shorts, leggings, jeans, etc.

I wore this outfit out to dinner one night and received SO many compliments on my "off the shoulder top." But would you believe me if I said the top is actually a romper?! If you haven't seen my post on how to style a romper three ways, then head over there now!

Not even going to lie, this outfit has been worn a ton since summer started. I love outfits that are easy to throw on, comfy, and still look completely put together.

Guess what y'all....I wore this outfit to church, Sunday lunch, and even out shopping. Finding an outfit that can do all three, feels like I found some lost treasure, am I right?! For a more comfy look though, exchange the wedges with brown sandals. Unfortunately, my romper is sold out, but I've linked two VERY similar rompers.

Also, big shoutout to all of my followers....last week Styled by Becca hit 3,000 followers on Instagram AND hit 3,100 a couple of days later!! I just wanted to take a second to thank all of y'all for following along on all of my style, beauty, and travel journeys! *sips champagne...here's to 3,000 more!

xoxo,

Rebecca
