Writing this blog post from fabulous Las Vegas! I went exploring last week and made sure to snap some pictures for a new blog series I'll be doing during the month of July. Seven Dials Shoes so graciously sent me two pair of shoes to style and share with all of my fabulous readers! I decided I would style one pair of shoes with three different outfits. The other pair will be a day to night look that's perfect for strutting yourself down the strip in Vegas. The schedule for the series will be:
July 11: Outfit Perfect for Exploring Vegas
July 18: Outfit Perfect for Shopping
August 1: Outfit Perfect for a Night Out on the Town
Okay, so would y'all believe me if I said the top I'm wearing in this look is actually from a pajama set?! Yeah I wouldn't either but seriously, I found this pajama top on the sleepwear clearance rack at Target for $7. *does a little happy dance* It even came with the matching shorts. When I saw it I was like, "Hold up...this doesn't even look like pajamas. I could totally wear this out in public." I've linked the set below but added some more pajama sets from Target that could totally work! Heads up though...they're $14.99 on Target's website.
Fun fact: shoes are my favorite thing to splurge on. Steve Madden, Sam Edelman, and Charlotte Olympia are some of my favorite shoe designers along with Seven Dials Shoes now. I bought my first pair of SDS at Belk a couple months ago and fell in love. They were totally swoon-worthy and oh so comfortable. I wear them almost every day. You probably know at this point the ones I'm talking about because I literally post them in almost all of my Instagram posts. Sorry not sorry about this one. Incase you can't remember, I've linked an Instagram photo of them here.
When I was choosing what two pair of shoes I wanted to work with on this collaboration, I knew I wanted to go with a pair that was stylish and comfy and the other to be fabulous and sassy. Since I was traveling to Vegas, I knew I wanted to work the blog posts around that to create some super fabulous content and styling tips for anyone traveling here soon.
For the first part of this series, I styled the shoes with an outfit that is perfect for exploring Vegas or walking the strip. I kept this look simple, meaning the least amount of clothes as possible because Vegas is hotter than the devil in church on a Sunday.
I stuck with a nice (pajama) peplum top, a pair of pink shorts, low heels/flats, and of course sunglasses. The one ah-mazing thing about the Vegas heat is NO HUMIDITY. I know all of my Georgia people can totally relate when I say Praise ya Jesus on this one. Back home when I curl my hair, it falls almost instantly when I walk outside. With this look, I curled my hair and then found out I had no hairspray. I totally panicked for like two seconds before remembering that no humidity mean't my hair would stay curled....and it did. I even woke up with curls still intact the next morning. SCORE.

My shorts, sunglasses, and purse are older so I've linked similar pieces since they're no longer available!
If you're loving this series, make sure to come back by the blog next Tuesday (July 18th) to read the next part. I can go ahead and promise you that you're not going to want to miss the next two outfits. SO FREAKING GORGEOUS AND SASSY....I can't wait!!
Hope you enjoyed this post! **This is in collaboration with www.sevendialsshoes.com. All opinions are my own.**
